The bike story.
So today was a pretty weird day. I got up and ate some cheerios (with sugar!). And I set off on my way to Spanish to take our first examen. Naturally, I'm running late, because its me and I'm always late. Wonder where I got that from. Oh yeah. The lovely, Miss Jessi. [Who just texted me, incidentally.] So yeah, I'm riding my bike down Campbell street on my way to class and I'm going just a little too fast. So when I turn on to 7th at the bottom of the hill, my day starts to go downhill, so to speak. So at the bottom of the hill, as I'm turning, I wipe out. That's right people. I totally broke through that line between static and kinetic friction. [Too bad I missed that lab in Mr. Grimes' class last year. I totally would have known to slow down .4 miles per hour.] So I fall and basically go flying across 7th on my side. Lucky for me, there were no cars on the road, or I would be dead. So I get up and move myself and my bike out of the road before evaluating the situation. Once there, I see that I have a few minor scrapes on my hand and my nose feels a little raw. A nice stranger infroms me that my nose is bleeding. Great. So about 800 people walking by are like "Are you alright?" So naturally I yell back "No, you fucking idiot!!! I just wiped out! Do I look the fuck okay?!?!?" [Actually I just said "Yeah, I'm fine."] So then, this really awesome girl, whose name I don't know, offers to drive me to class. Hello new best friend. Yeah. So, I leave me bike on the side of the road and get in her car. Then, she drives me to class and such and I walk into Spanish just a few minutes late. My teacher keeps asking if I need to go to the bathroom and I'm just like no. Give me the fucking test so I can take it and get out of here. So I take the test, shaking the whole times with Nash's legs reaching out past mine from behing me. That kid is so tall. Of course, by the time I get back my bike is gone. I later found out that Parking Services had it. Yep. 20 dollar fine for leaving my bike unattended. Stttuuupid. But, if I go get my bike registered its only five bucks. Whoot! Yep. So that was my day, in a nut shell. Oh, and Lindsey wanted me to let you know that I beat the bus back on my bike. So, yeah. I did that. =]
